Espírito Santo Plaza Voted Best Commercial Building in Florida

The Espirito Santo Plaza

Imagine our surprise when we saw a photo of our building, the Espírito Santo Plaza, featured on the front page of the Miami Herald this morning.  Andres Viglucci’s story, “Florida’s Top Buildings”, details how the Florida chapter of the American Institute of Architecture created a contest where online visitors could vote on the best buildings in the state.  According to the article, the month-long contest received an astounding 2.4 million votes.  Many of those votes must have gone to the Espírito Santo Plaza, since it placed first in the “commercial building” category.  Other categories featured hotels, civic buildings, historic structures, and public use facilities.

Of course, we know how impressive our building is; after all, we work there every day.  However, we are very proud to see the building get so much public support.  Our thanks go out to all the voters, as well as to the countless individuals who worked tirelessly to make the Espírito Santo Plaza what it is today.

We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating again: If you are impressed with the exterior of our building, just wait until you meet the men and women inside!
